| Introduction | I'm a 60something guitar and camera toting wife, mother, grandmother, spiritual friend in training and repatriated Texan My Dear Professor and I have spent the last 28 years in exile shoveling snow in the coal country of western PA. Some of that experience was recorded on my former blog, iron acres. Retirement was long in coming, but now that it's here we've returned to the mother land and look forward to settling back into the country of Blue Bell, bluebonnets, and audacious claims. Our three children have flown the nest: Principessa (middle child and daughter) teaches social studies in a Texas high school, The Preacher (eldest son) is married to Beautiful Mommy, and together they've gifted us with our 4 precious grandchildren (the Sprittles). The Dreamer (our youngest son) is currently in PA and a world traveler. My greatest love beyond My Dear Professor, our children and the Sprittles is Jesus Christ. His word holds my world together, His light lights my path, His love and grace are truly amazing. |
