| Introduction | I am a woman who still and always connects to the child within. I have been through disappointments, tragedies, loss, and transformation. I am becoming the person I was supposed to be. My memories are shadowy, they tend to bring the more dramatic and negative events to light; yet of childhood I recall mostly the dreamlike wonder... I have worked in many jobs, I have earned two degrees, I have learned more about life than I ever thought possible. I have not experienced marriage, have not had children of "my own". I have passed along much of myself to young people, which has only increased my sense of self-worth and value. Now I feel the need to express myself and to put myself out in the larger sphere. |
