| Introduction | I am a graduate of mass communication and a holder of Masters in Business Administration Degree (MBA) and currently the Arts Editor of THE NATIION newspaper, Lagos. Started journalism at THE GUARDIAN newspaper, Lagos in 1991 till August 2001, before joining The Daily Independent newspaper, Lagos where I worked till 2007 as senior editorial staff. I am a member of Arts Writers Organisation of Nigeria (AWON), Association of International Arts Critics (AICA) Nigeria chapter, and Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ). I am a recipient of ICCROM, Italy Best Report of Media Save Arts Awards on Heritage Preservation in 2001; Goethe Institut’s scholarship awards to Berlin and Munich in 2003 and 2009 respectively. I was among arts critics that covered the 2008 Dak'art biennale, Senegal, Bamako Encounter 2008 photography biennale, Mali and New York Art Expo, 2010. |
