| Introduction | Candidate for Alabama State Senate district 6 -2010 Jim Bonner (57)Born in 1953 is originally from Phil Campbell in Franklin County, lived his boyhood years near Bear Creek in Marion County and a place called "Dime" Currently lives in Cherokee Alabama with his wife and four boys.He has four adult children and nine (I think) grandchildren. Is a Christian conservative currently running for State Senate, serving Lamar, Fayette, Marion, Franklin, Colbert, Lawrence, and Winston Counties. Mr Bonner has worked as instructor and administrator for the Alabama College System since 1984 and has served as president and delegate for the AEA local association a total of 18 of those 27 years. He is also active in nanotechnology research with Sandia Laboratories a member of MENSA, teaches Electricity and programming Allen Bradley PLC's. He is a farmer, paints and writes badly, and occasionally makes elderberry wine. |
