Introduction	I always wonder how accurate it is when people do self-descriptions. I suppose I'll just say that I'm part witch, part artist, a little prickly but with some lovely blooms, and, as everybody else is, so much more than the sum of my parts.
Interests	Writing, reading, music (both playing and creating), art, poetry, philosophy (not the read-a-musty-book kind but the sit-around-a-bottle-of-wine-and-discuss kind), collaging, long walks in the city, fairy tales, folklore, religion, dreams, chocolate, wine, mysteries.

Favorite music	I don't have the faintest idea how to properly answer this. So I'll do this instead. What I'm listening to a lot right now: Patti Griffin, Niyaz, Azam Ali, Spring Awakening, this great mix CD my friend Sarah gave me, Damien Rice, Imogen Heap.
Favorite books	The Dark is Rising Sequence (Susan Cooper), Fairies of Dreamdark (Laini Taylor), all of Holly BLack's books, City of Bones (Cassandra Clare), any Charles de Lint, Neil Gaiman, His Dark Materials trilogy (Philip Pullman), Kavalier & Klay, Fables, Kelly Link, Cecilia Woloch, Sylvia Plath, Eavan Boland, Emma Bull.
