| Introduction | Stories of Sindh is a platform to document stories of partition, particularly out of Sindh and from Sindhis. While I know Partition didn't just happen in Sindh and to Sindhis, I noticed that among the Partition stories that had so far been documented, there were very few accounts from a Sindhi perspective. I was afraid that these important historical stories, many of which are oral history, may become lost as time passes. So, it became my mission to capture them via this platform. A very special thanks to my mum, Mansha Sadhwani, who has been a key part of this blog - sourcing for stories, calling those with stories to share when I'm unable to because of work commitments, proof-reading the stories, and generally an all-round supporter and biggest champion of this blog. |
