| Introduction | Hi, I'm Gabriele Lampis aka Laps, a sound engineer, producer and dj based in London. I was born in Cava Dei Tirreni (Italy), where established myself as dj when I was 16. After few years, I started producing my own tracks and collaborating with musicians, always trying to create a bridge between sample based music and usual instruments. In 2006 I got a degree in sound engineering and I started assisting recording sessions and engineering for live acts while still playing and producing with various artists. In 2008 I moved to London; here I work as sound engineer and dj at the Victoria and Albert museum. |
