Introduction	I have always had a passion for helping others - whether it be helping a friend with a personal situation or helping out at a fundraising event for school and/or a separate worthy cause. In the past few years I have rediscovered my old passion. Recently, I have planned and coordinated many community service events where others can volunteer. The most recent was a charity softball game in the Boston Common for the Jimmy Fund and its cause to help the Dana Farber Cancer Institute to raise money for cancer research. However, I believe that charity is not just donating money or our time at charitable events. It can also be helping a friend in need, wearing clothing that is eco friendly, shutting off energy consuming items when not at home, and/or buying products that are more health conscious. Charity is what you make of it.
