| Introduction | I am currently a graduate student in the Department of Sociology at Harvard University and a Doctoral Fellow in the Multidisciplinary Program in Inequality and Social Policy at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Before moving to Cambridge, I spent 4 years in Ann Arbor, MI, where I received my B.A. in History and Sociology from the University of Michigan. And before that, I spent 18 wonderful years in the Carousel Capital of the World, Binghamton, NY.
