Introduction	Catherine Robar founded The Themba Development Project Association in 2008 after returning home from South Africa. While living abroad she focused her attention on assisting the people who are living in chronic poverty. Today The Themba Development Project works with two South Africa communities, finding short and long term solutions to chronic hunger, education, food security and poverty. Catherine has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Marketing from Saint Mary's University, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Food Security in which she graduated at the top of her class and received the Ryerson University Gold Medal Award. She also holds a Masters in Human Development and Food Security from the University of Rome.
