Introduction | I am the author of a series of books chronicling the last days of steam railway operations in Ontario. I have a degree in civil engineering from Queen’s University. I am married to Mary-Jo, and we have two sons named Spencer and Duncan. At the end of my working day, I like to go hiking in the woods, looking for pileated woodpeckers. In the evenings, I enjoy laying track on the N-scale model railway in our basement. I have just completed my first novel, entitled The Secret of the Old Swing Bridge. |
