Introduction	I reside now and again on a narrowboat on the Lancaster Canal and in the ScScottish Borders n when I’m travelling about the globe, and inspired,I often write my blog taking life observations and attempting to combine some quirky opinions with dark humour to create a personal view that will not be to everyone’s taste but hey...that’s just life!Please be warned that not everything will be fact but it will be wholesome, controversial and badly written and have spelling mistakes and, depending on how creative my mind has been, will brighten up a wet Tuesday by the cut.

Favorite movies	Ask a policeman - Will Hay, Anything by Mike Leigh, Billy Liar, Pulp Fiction, and now in 2026 ‘The Magic Faraway Tree” - fifty years on from reading it…
