Introduction	David Halpin lives in Carlow, Ireland with his family and quite possibly, a curse. He has written short stories in various genres including Science Fiction, Crime and Dark Fantasy. In 2007 David's story 'Alison's Garden' was chosen by Sideshow Press to appear in the first edition of 'Black Ink Horror' where it was accompanied by illustrations by the American artist and writer Tom Moran. David's fiction has also been published in various magazines and e-zines as well as appearing on the podcasts 'The Late Late Show' and 'Bizarre Bazaar'. David has worked as a sound engineer and radio producer and it was this background which inspired him to write his first novel 'The Music of Secrets'. David is currently in the process of researching an urban fantasy trilogy.
