| Introduction | I have been meditating for over 30 years. I am the author of the book Tapping the Wisdom Within, a Guide to Joyous Living. In the early 1990's, I led a ‘folder’ called 'Meditation Tips and Techniques' on AOL, a community of meditators from all over at a time when there was little local availability of meditation instruction in many communities. I am fortunate to live near Spirit Rock Meditation Center, where I have studied, practiced, attended long silent retreats, and on occasion taught, for the past two decades. I was class manager of the Friday Morning class for many years. I deeply appreciate being part of that community, as well as the teachings that are so aligned with my own findings, and that encourage me to be a lamp unto myself. I teach a weekly meditation group, meet one-on-one to coach individuals, and lead retreats and workshops. I am always happy to hear from anyone who wants to learn to meditate, refine their practice, create a sitting group or host a workshop or retreat. |
