Introduction	Ships' Timbers Blogs are a useful way for us to share information about the various projects we are working on, to highlight new acquisitions, our research, give details of exhibitions and events, share our networks, connect with people.
Interests	Ships' Timbers is interested in many aspects of life at sea. This includes local maritime heritage, marine and coastal conservation, renewable energies, shipwrecks of local, national and international importance, historic boats. We carry out research, and use different ways of sharing our findings. We want to share our passion and knowledge about the sea, coastline, and its history with as many people as we can. We really enjoy going out to visit the remains of maritime heritage features that lie along our coastline within the museum boundary, and are keen to make sure that these important local features are looked after for future generations to enjoy.
