| Introduction | Just some background on myself - I'm a musician who escaped from corporate engineering a few years ago. I play several instruments, but the main one for the last several years has been hammered dulcimer, through which I met Christie and Butch. My current musical interests are in Old-Time, Irish, Scottish, and English traditional music, as well as some medeival and renaissance music. I also write my own tunes. I teach dulcimer privately and at festivals. I also record my own CDs. Through the music, I have become interested in Documentary, and am nearing completion of a certificate in Documentary Studies from Duke's Center for Documentary Studies. I'm currently working on a video doc about the hammer dulcimer in Co. Antrim, No. Ireland. |
