Introduction	I am a mom to 4 beautiful children. We are a blended family but each of my kids are just that my kids. My husband and I both work outside the house but are working on ways to become more self sufficient. I grew up helping my grandparents on a working hog farm. I have fond memories of many summers spent helping on the farm with the gardens and animals. When my husband and I started living together we both realized that we wanted to get back to a simpler life and not relying on others to produce the food we eat and to eventually be somewhere where our kids could run free.
