IntroductionI am the founder and editor of Political Policy. I am a traditional conservative, and my chief inspirations on political thought are Edmund Burke, Russell Kirk and William F. Buckley, Jr. Russell Kirk is widely regarded as the principal intellectual founder of the American conservative movement. To quote Kirk, “The attitude we call conservatism is sustained by a body of sentiments, rather than by a system of ideological dogmata.” I'm a former CPA with over twenty years of consulting and industry experience in the financial area. I have a B.S. and M.S. in Business Administration, and a M.A. in History with a concentration in American History.
