| Introduction | I’m a my husbands wife and girlfriend and working mom to 3 amazing children. This is our ‘normal’ life, our journey with Fibular Hemimelia. Our third child, Allison, was born May 2nd, 2012. She was born with a congenital leg defect called Fibular Hemimelia. On Nov 9th, 2012 at 6mo old, we had her left ankle and foot amputated. She is now in her 2nd prosthetic leg. Everyday she show us that there are no limits. We are molding our ‘normal’, one leg at a time. |
