| Introduction | Hello, my name is Russell Hews Everett. Originally I'm from the Seattle area, and attended UW as an undergrad where I earned two Bachelors of Arts: one in International Studies, and the other in Philosophy and Comparative History of Ideas. In 2005 I moved to Miami, where my lovely wife was earning a PhD and in 2006 I entered UM Law. In May, 2009, I earned my J.D. Now we're happy to be back in Seattle. I passed the July 2009 Washington Bar Exam, and I'm looking for employment with a firm that has an Alcoholic Beverage and Vineyard practice group, or with a distributor or producer of beer, wine or distilled spirits. My focus is on regulatory compliance issues, labeling and licensing, interstate shipping and direct-shipment problems, and intellectual property issues in the alcoholic beverage industry. |
