Introduction	Life's greatest lessons can be learned from our dogs: patience, loyalty, living in the moment, and unconditional love. They also teach us not to take life too seriously.. which is the ultimate challenge for a girl who balances teaching high school English and making Martha Stewart proud on a daily basis. I'm Emily, a girl who knows her roots, finds happiness in the simple things in life, knows home is in the country (that is where the heart is, afterall), thinks family is what its all about, and enjoys all the things that make life pretty. I'm a twenty-something, not-so newlywed, in the upper midwest who loves God, my sweet husband, my golden retrievers, being outdoors, interior decor & design, traveling, being in the kitchen, and life as a wife!
