| Introduction | I am the second oldest of seven children and let me say that you really need a sense of humour to survive the experience...And also be quick at the dinner table as there wasn't much left. We didn't have all the gadgets of today so we used our imagination. We lived in the country and as a child I would walk through the trees and fields(you could do that safely back then), and I would make up stories and draw what I was thinking. I taught myself to paint in 1999 with acrylics then in 2002 I taught myself to paint in oil. My husband of 31 years and our three children are my support team. They let me know if a painting I create is one of their favorites or not. If not then they will let me know why not and that is a good thing because when an artist is self taught....every comment helps. |
