| Introduction | Christ our Saviour has 1000+ (circa 1200) Official Names in Inspiration, but as One absolutely equal in every regard He is also God Himself. Christ has the same honour due to God, He is God. The rightful place of Christ is set forth in order that His power to redeem might be better appreciated. He is not among all created things, He is above all creation and not part of it. All things have origin from Him. Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. Col 1:15-18 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
