| Introduction | A passion for natural history has been with me since boyhood and I spend much of my spare time in the field looking for wildlife, particularly butterflies and dragonflies. This site is not intended to be a catalogue of all species to be found in East Sussex but rather to encourage others to see what they can find for themselves when out walking. Whilst I endeavour to take the best photographs that I can, I don't class myself as a photographer. I find that my digital bridge camera is very capable of making its own technical decisions, leaving me to concentrate on composition and natural light whilst making sure I hold the camera steady when releasing the shutter. All photographs on this site have been taken by me and as such are protected by copyright. All views and observations are my own (unless specifically referenced) and may not agree with those of others. |
