| Introduction | Living the fun life in Texas as a retiree, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. I walk three to six miles daily and belong to a Friday evening hiking group that meets at different locations. I love hiking up mountain trails and dream of hiking the 2,024 miles of the Appalachian Trail with my best friend once she retires. I enjoy working in my garden limited to container gardening at this time. My husband plans to set out a raised garden bed for this coming spring 2010. I truly enjoy wearing hand-crafted crystal and stone jewelry sets made by one of my dear friends. I am taking classes to create my own jewelry. It is theraputic, relaxing and a perfect time to chat with my sister when we are in a creative mood. I like bright colors, reds and deep pinks, as well as black and white colors. Through yoga, meditation and gym workouts I am learning to worry less and enjoy life more. I visit the library often, Julia Semmes, is my favorite spot to check out books and to hike the Comanche Park trails behind the library. |
