| Introduction | Samantha Floyd grew up in the Deep South in Northwest Georgia. After graduating in 2011 from Shorter University in Rome, GA she moved to Staten Island, NY to advance her career as a free lance and commission artist. Her mediums include oil paint, acrylic paint, and a technique of hand placing seed beads to make “bead art”. Landscapes and nature is Samantha’s specialty. Her work is based on her southern heritage and her technique hints impressionism to symbolize the movement in her life from the slow country to the racing city. |
