| Introduction | Dave Pickering is the RI Chairman of the Carp Anglers Group, a national group of carp fishermen. He fishes extensively for carp all over RI as well as nearby Massachusetts. He has landed thousands of carp and catches upwards of 750 carp a year. He has landed one of the few 40 lb. carp ever landed in New England. He holds the CAG and unofficial record for common carp in RI at 36 lbs. He also holds the RI CAG mirror record at 31 lbs., 8 oz. He is also a member of the New England Outdoor Writers' Association and has written about carp fishing in many national and regional magazines. He also conducts seminars on carp fishing in New England. |
