| Introduction | I'm a retired elementary teacher. I am a serious artist, but with a playful heart, who likes to experiment with new materials, techniques, and subject matter. I work in pastels, watercolor, graphite and colored pencil.Recently, I've been dipping into acrylics as a new media. I was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, USA and live Fitchburg, near Madison, Wisconsin, USA with my husband, Bob, and cat, Uriel. We have two adult daughters with families. Besides art, I play the violin and piano, research genealogy and family history. I do pointed pen (Copperplate) calligraphy as well as I'm learning some historic broad pen scripts and Celtic designs. |
