| Introduction | I kayaked on the Dorset coast from the age of 14 through to 18 with the Weymouth YAC. I went to University in Bristol and switched to river paddling and took up slalom. Paddled extensively through the UK and a couple of trips to the alps. After college I reached Div 1 in 1982 while paddling with Chalfont Park CC. Shortly after that I gave up kayaking and moved on to other sports. I've recently been diagnosed with arthritis in both knees (too much fell running...) so I've switched back to kayaking and in particular sea kayaking. Bought a boat in October 2007. |
