| Introduction | Born in Málaga, Spain, in 1969, Enrique grew up by the sea, hiking, sailing and reading. As a kid his favorite book was his dog-eared atlas, on it he would plan trips to remote and exotic locations. His images are published regularly in books, magazines and calendars as well as on www.fotonatura.org where he collaborates writing short articles. Enrique markets his work privately as well as through various image banks and photo libraries. In the year 2000 Enrique began a project to document the wildlife of the coastal areas of the Atlantic Ocean. Since then he has traveled to locations such as the Gulf of St lawrence in Canada to photograph harp seals and South Georgia in the Southern Atlantic to work with the wandering albatross and king penguins. Enrique currently resides in San Francisco. |
