| Introduction | Born and raised in Houston, Texas, I now call the Pacific Northwest home. After graduating from Texas A&M University, I was commissioned as an officer in the US Air Force and attended Undergraduate Pilot Training at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas. I have flown more than 5,000 hours in both cargo and reconnaissance aircraft: C-141B and C-141C Starlifter, the RQ-1 Predator, and my current aircraft - the C-17A Globemaster III. In more than 21 years of active duty and reserve service, my assignments have included stints in Wyoming, Washington state, Nevada, and California. My travels have taken me to more than 60 countries on all 7 continents. My civilian job as a pilot for a major US airline is currently on extended hiatus. |
