Introduction	I'm a recently retired Executive Director of a large non-profit organization. I now spend my time on my grandchildren and my hobbies. Those hobbies include gardening, sewing, crafting, graphic arts, painting, cooking, floral crafting, home remodeling and decorating. We purchased an old brick farmhouse in the country three years ago. It was built in 1848 on land purchased by Edward Shanahan in 1834. The 2700 square foot, brick farmhouse has undergone many ruinous renovations over the past 158 years. The last being the "modernization" of the head house and removal of ALL trim and moldings. Our goal is to restore it to it's original splendor and still retain the modern elements necessary for todays living. Also on the grounds is a 1000 square foot guest cottage. It was once the summer home of a beautiful widowed lady called Aunt May. It had no electricity and no running water. After decades of abandonment, we wish to restore Aunt May's Cottage to the jewel we know it can be. Come journey with us on our adventure!
