| Introduction | 86 and finally decided to blog. Since 1933 I have lived in or near Seattle. I am now near Seattle. Out where, when I was a kid, I picked hops, strawberries and beans among other things. Now growing Boeing airplanes, trucks. factories, shopping malls. The Japanese were put into concentration camps,their truck farms or the produce markets never recovered. The Pike Place Market now sells trinkets or fruits and vegetables from Argentina or Austraila. None from Kent, Renton or perhaps Auburn any more. |
