| Introduction | I am a wife, mother and grandmother that believes in old fashioned values and food. I believe that we should prepare for lifes curveballs. I believe in old fashioned cooking and try to live my life as simply as possible. We have a small 5 acre farm and work it in an effort to be as self sufficient as possible. We have a horse, goats, pigs, rabbits, a steer, chickens, guineas and ducks. I have been canning for 30 years and enjoy teaching others to do so. I have an associate of Applied Science in Nursing and worked as an RN for almost 20 years until I had to retire because of an accident/injury. My main specialties were Trauma, ER, ICU and management. |
