| Introduction | I'm a full time mom who doesn't stay home. We're out and about most days with trips back to the house for a nap or two. I have lots of formal education--two degrees and a teaching license--but I value my informal and on the job education more. I'm married to a wonderful man who has just as much fun as I do building our bi-cultural/bi-lingual family. I've passed the initial bewilderment that comes from learning to actually use Turkish grammar that is so different than English. Now I just need to learn enough vocabulary so that I don't sound like a three year old when I talk to my in-laws. I am mother to a hilarious 2 1/2 year old son who keeps me on my toes and to an angel daughter who was taken to heaven a day or so before she was born at 39 weeks in 2008. A week ago, our third child, another daughter, was born healthy and is filling our hearts every minute of her life. |
