Introduction	Currently in remission (and doing ok). To keep sane I'm studying for a degree in Mathematics with the Open University and I'm currently about 2/3 finished (in Hiatus). For my sins I support Newcastle United FC and can see no prospect of them ever winning anything in my lifetime. I am also a member of The Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET).

Favorite music	Basically anything that appeals to me, I like classical, rock, pop, folk, country and western. I do have a particular soft spot for Rock, in particular Led Zeppelin.
Favorite books	Anything by Simon Singh. I particularly like non-fiction of a scientific nature.
