| Introduction | I want to live a life that is exciting but I often find that I am just living every day doing the same old things. I am a stay at home mom and often that can make things routine and it is easy to lose site of who I am. Because of that I believe in taking care of me, making time for myself and doing things I like. I believe it is important to not be Mommy or Wife first... but to be Laura first. I don't want my roles to dictate who I become, instead I want WHO I AM to dictate the kind of mom and wife and friend that I become.
I love my husband and my children. We make a happy little family and really do enjoy being together. But like every family we are far from perfect and constantly learning to forgive, grow and love better. I try to keep my life as an open book because I believe that we all have something to offer... but if we keep it in instead of sharing it other's will never be able to receive our gift. So... I hope that as you read our stories on this blog that you will find something you can relate with, learn from, laugh at or be encouraged by. |
