Introduction	PhD Oxford Brookes University (2016-19). Art historian specialising in the art and literature of the Pre-Raphaelites and their associates. I wrote my PhD thesis on the life, art and writings of Frederic George Stephens (1827-1907). Interested in primary sources and neglected artists - also medievalism, masculinity, nineteenth-century photography, and British artists in Brazil. I've published articles in the Burlington Magazine, British Art Journal and Pre-Raphaelite Society Review. Planning a monograph on F. G. Stephens's life and work. New research project on the presence of British artists in nineteenth-century Brazil.
