| Introduction | I didn't read a single book the entire way through high school or college & when I was a kid, my mom would read those big paged picture books to me & my sister with barely any words throughout. I could stare at the pictures for hours just getting lost in what I saw. For this reason, I think I've always liked pictures over the words. Something just clicked when I was given my first camera when I was about 7 or 8. I loved being able to tell a story without words by just showing people a picture. It's almost embarassing the piles of photos I have of my dogs, my cats, the farm animals & the stuffed animals all lined up on my freshly made bed, from when I was a kid! Every time I see one of those photos, I'm taken back immediately to that single moment where I was free to shoot endless rolls of 110 on my cat Rosi! These are the exact reasons I love wedding photography! I am blessed to have been given such a gift that allows others to instantly assume those feelings again as if it were just yesterday by just looking at one of their wedding photos.
