| Introduction | I'm Lisa. I'm 1/3 of Team Awesome, which also consists of my husband Levi and our son Oliver. We are expecting our second son, Jonah, at the end of April! I am a conservative Christian wife who is closer to 30 than her brain allows her to think (seriously, when I'm asked how old I am, 25 is the first thing I think of rather than 29!). I wear many hats...Wife, Mother, Friend, Sister, Daughter. This is my little slice of the internet, where I can connect with people who are going through the same things I am, or who share the same passions that I do. | Favorite movies | Dead Poets Society, Snatch, The Royal Tennenbaums, Disney/Pixar movies, Patch Adams, Death to Smoochy, Anchorman, Fight Club, Star Wars trilogy, Serenity...as you can see I like a wide array of genres and such. =) |
| Favorite music | Mostly contemporary Christian. Bethany Dillon, FFH, Ginny Owens, Relient K, Shaun Groves, Matthew West, etc etc etc. I also love anything folk-y or acoustic-y. Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Iron and Wine. Some "other" stuff, like Imogen Heap, Frou Frou, and Hybrid. |
| Favorite books | So many! Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis. Messy Spirituality and Dangerous Wonder by Mike Yaconelli. Awesome. I really enjoy reading about Christian Apologetics, and like the stuff by Ravi Zacharias that I can wrap my head around, and enjoyed The Dawkins Letters by David A. Robertson. I'm also a big fan of Ted Dekker, Dr. Kevin Leman, Karen Kingsbury, Jodi Picoult, Bodie and Brock Thoene and of course, Neal Boortz. =) I think Somebody's Gotta Say It is one of the best books I've ever read. |
