Introduction | Prince Charming and I married 17 years ago last June and thanks to a sense of humor, caffeine and a secret stash of chocolate I might actually figure suburban life out one of these days. Until then, you will probably find me in my car doing what I hate most (driving) for those I love the most(my kids). Did you know there are 147 MILLION orphans around the world? If you are not being called to adopt one, I am calling on you to feed one today! |
Interests | Reading books, blogs, social networking sites, random websites..(it is a sickness really), writing when I run out of things to read, mexican food, The Longhorns, early childhood education, and my friends. |
Favorite Movies | The Star Wars Movies, Grease (with Travolta and Newton-John), Little Mermaid, The Sixth Sense, Pretty Woman, Roots, and Halloween.. Nostalgic aren't I? |
Favorite Music | Anything that irritates my 14 year old apparently. |
Favorite Books | Alas Babylon (started my love affair with books) Pride and Prejudice (the book I wish I had on my shelf once again) Outlander, all the Harry Potter Books (my boys never cared, but I was the nut reading it at midnight for each release) Right now I am having an affair with Sookie Stackhouse- there is something about the character herself that I just LOVE. Evonovich and Patterson just can't go wrong... Honestly, I read enough blogs to get my fill of real life depression, so I adore anything that puts a smile on my face (the hero better not die!) I will always have an enourmous soft spot for Sophia Kinsley- the funny lady who kept me off antidepressants during the adoption process. |
If you could peer far enough into the night sky, you'd see a star in any direction you looked. When would you sleep?
There are far more fascinating things to keep me awake at night than the stars...
