Introduction	Born & bred New Yorker transplanted to the burbs in …Ah, the smell of cut grass, mixed with truck exhaust. Had a life full of learning experiences - from romance, to career to managing one's finances. Some lessons I enjoyed, others were beaten into me. Hopefully those lessons have stuck, because I can't afford to make many more mistakes! Had 2 great loves in my life - one sweet & adolescent & the other reckless & breathless & singular. My singular husband, Kevin died Sept. 21, 2007 & the past several years have drifted by without much participation from me. But now, in what may prove to be the last 1/3rd of my life, I am determined to find the humor in whatever comes my way, enjoy people for who they turned out to be & perhaps find a third love - mature, but passionate; practical but indulgent; & with enough longevity to get me to the places I want to see & the things I want to do while leaning back against the man I love. Once you love you don't want to live without it even if it is incomparable to what you had. Well, every relationship is incomparable, now isn't it? Right now for company there are my two cats - Bean and Sweet Baby James.
Interests	My current passion is going to auctions, flea markets and buying and selling vintage costume jewelry – much like playing in your mother’s jewelry box. Hooked on Cooks Illustrated & Scientific America (even if I don’t quite understand ½ of what I am reading.)
