| Introduction | Cut my teeth in the Garden State, growing up playing ball in Jersey City and running in summer league games against the Duke legend, Bobby Hurley (still hate his ass). Worshiped at the altar of Michael Jordan and the Bulls from the beginning to the end of the Dynasty and battled the Knicks fans that surrounded me on the regular. A twist of fate brought me to sunny South FLA in 1990 and have been livin' the laid-back lifestyle here since. I also threw my support to the newly founded NBA team in Miami in 1990 and been following them almost from their inception. (Although it was hard to root against them when St. Michael & the boys would slice & dice them). Time has made me a husband and a father, but time hasn't changed my biggest non-family love, basketball. Whether it's watching NBA games like a crack-head looking for a score, ballin' on the regular to keep my game tight, coaching 9 & 10 year olds who think they know the game inside out or instilling the love for the game to my 3 yr old son, well.... ball is life and life is a ball! |
| Favorite Music | Look, music is huge to me, and when I'm listening, this is what I hear. 60's British Invasion music/ 70's & 80's hard rock/ 90's grunge/ the works of Marshall Mathers/ the legendary music of Motown/ the genius of Marvin Gaye/the Master Blaster, Stevie Wonder/the hypnotic Sam Cooke/ PAC/ Biggie/ Dre/ Snoop/ Big Daddy Kane/ LL/ Rakim & numerous other early NYC rap pioneers that paved the way for the rest of hip-hop's mainstream entrance. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. You gotta be diverse, to have relevant views! |
