Introduction	Niko is the Japanese onomatopoeia used to represent the sound of a smile. The purpose of this blog is to put words to the things that create smiles and most likely the absence of them. I hesitate to call the inspiration for this blog a trip because it's not simply something I'm doing in between "real life." Every heartbeat marks another moment in life. I want to share stories and images from where I'm at so you can take part in them.
