| Introduction | Now in my 33rd year as a teacher at a rural Illinois high school, I am a former "Exemplary Teacher," a recipient of a "Yale Teaching Award," and a recent nominee for "Who’s Who Among American Educators." I'm also editor of a quarterly genealogical newsletter, Cleveland Family Chronicles. I have written three books, which are available for discounted prices at Lulu Press: my how-to book, Rooting Out Your AnceStory: A Primer for Beginning Genealogy; my first novel, The Roommates; and my latest novel, The Wading Place. I make my home with my furry loved ones (Melanie, Chelsie, Elly Fae, Joey, Deuce, and Trey) in my hometown of Salem, IL. |
