IntroductionI'm a freelance writer and science store lackey. My background is in history (classical, mediaeval, history of science), writing (technical and otherwise), science and technology. I'm attracted to science writing particularly, as I'm convinced that scientific illiteracy is one of the greatest defects of Western education. After all, without science, nothing makes sense. However, like most people who think that they can write, I also have at least one novel tucked away, ready to spring on unsuspecting victims without remorse or pity. If I'm really cross, I *might* read you some of my poetry first. Got questions? Email me at mount dot improbable dot 07 at gmail dot com.
InterestsScience and science education / literacy, history (classical, mediaeval, English, French, American), literature, music, good beer & wine, all things "green", family - friends - the usual things.

Your pajamas have duckies on them. Why did you switch from choo-choos?

You must be mistaken. My pyjamas still have choo-choos on them (true story!).
