Introduction	I am a historian, having earned my MA in History at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin; however, my love of history began long before that. I devour true history, as well as anything written by Louis L'Amour. I love to read about people, places, events. I also love visiting the historical places of Texas, as well as in other states, when I get the rare chance. I am married to a lovely young lady. We have Child A and Child B, both grown and away from home. Another child, our second son, died in infancy. I have recently become a published author. I also hunt treasure with a metal detector, enjoy spending hours in central Texas hunting arrow heads, and most of all, I enjoy spending time with my lovely bride.
