| Introduction | Hello readers! My name is Destiny, also known as DJ, Deej, Mrs. Friend Guy/FG (a title granted when I married my husband aka Friend Guy/FG), also known as Mommy to a sassy little girl, auntie, "little" big sis, and the list goes on. I was born and raised out on the Canadian prairies, and wouldn't trade it for any other way of life. I love the hot summers, cold winters, and farmer's fields as far as the eye can see. If I manage to get my hands on some spare time, you can find me in 1 of 5 places: sitting at my easel with a paintbrush in hand, experimenting in the kitchen, tinkling the keys of my piano, curled up with my nose in a book, or out for a casual stroll on our city's perimeter-long walking path. A few of my favourite things: A black and white film, a cup of tea, a bag of Old Dutch potato chips, the smell of a bakery, rainy days, pool days, Christmas, puppies, and Harry Potter. |
