About me

Gender Male
Occupation Preacher and Handyman
Location Dillon, Montana
Introduction I am a sinner saved by God's grace. I once worshiped the creation instead of the Creator. Psalm 19 tells what happened to me as God drew me to Himself in Salvation. The Lord took me out of the woods of Oregon and set my feet in Bible College in South Carolina (BJU). What a shock! I met my lovely wife there and we were married in 1985. In 1987 the Lord blessed us with an only daughter, Christina, who is a gift from God. She is now married and we have four grandchildren. I served three years in Utah as a youth pastor before heading to the mission field of Brazil. We served in Manaus, Brazil for 4 years. We helped in two church plants with Brazilian pastors and had the privilege of serving at the Amazonas Regular Baptist Seminary. Upon our return to the states in 1997 I finished a master's degree in Teaching Bible, had a traveling ministry of helps, and served as a Christian School principal before being called to pastor at First Baptist church of Dillon, Montana from October of 2004 to September of 2010. I continue to serve in Dillon as a Handyman, substitute teacher, board member of New Hope, and writer/blogger.
Interests I like doing things in God's beautiful creation: hiking, canoeing, hunting, photography, Etc.
