| Introduction | I grew up in North Augusta, SC, but always knew I wanted to be on the coast. My family often vacationed at the SC Beaches, particularly Edisto and Folly. After college, I accepted the first job offering on the coast in Savannah, Georgia. Over the years, I have also lived in Frankfurt Germany, Virginia Beach VA, Panama City FL, and (back) in North Augusta, SC. My wife Nancy, my older son Brendan, and I spent a year living and cruising on our sailboat. My goal was always to return to the SC coast to breathe the salt air, explore the creeks, fish a little, and just mess around in boats. We now live in downtown Beaufort, SC. |
